Hyper market navigation

Problem

Many of hyper markets acts like in the eighties. They change the position of shelfs together with products groups across the market. But the responsible staff didnĀ“t recognise, that the behavior of the buyer changed. Customers did not want to roam inside of market, they want to buy in a fast manner. The shops are growing, the staff inside of market unassigned to a special positions is reduced to a minimum, so it takes much more time to make a complete purchase than 10-15 years ago, it takes much time simply to find a product you want.

Solution

My proposition is to make a map of the hypermarket, position as many iBeacons as needed that the app can optimal recognise the current customerĀ“s position. The customer can first complete at home on a hypermarkets webpage or inside the app a grocery list. After completion the list will be transferred into the phone via bluetooth or even a web service. The app calculates an optimal route through the shelfs inside of the hypermarket. If something comes into your mind while inside of shop the customer can ask the app by typing or telling the products name or description or even product group and the app navigates him to the desired item. The customer can even commit the collected product by checking an checkbox or scanning the articles barcode and see the whole price for products in cart
